Sandwich construction. Piano gloss finish.

The dual-layer top boards (2 × 30 mm) are separated by the proprietary BBS system. The irregular shape of the upper platform reduces the formation of symmetrical resonance modes and minimizes the risk of standing waves within the structure. Varying characteristic dimensions and the absence of parallel edges promote a more uniform dissipation of vibrational energy throughout the entire construction.

Anti-vibration platforms are designed for high-end audio components. The design incorporates the proprietary BBS (Balancing Board System) anti-vibration system.

BBS System (Balancing Board System)
The BBS system is based on a set of precisely interacting elements: a height-adjustable steel cone, an intermediate carbon-polymer element, and steel sockets embedded in the platforms.

The point contact between the cone and the intermediate element stabilizes the system along its axis while allowing controlled pendulum-like movement. At the next stage, vibrational energy is transferred to the contact zone, where limited rolling and sliding motion can occur.

This sequence of interactions ensures that vibrations are not transmitted linearly but are progressively dissipated and attenuated.

In practice, this results in multi-stage vibration reduction — through friction, rolling resistance, internal material damping, and inertia involved in energy transformation and redistribution — while maintaining stable point support.

The system acts as a mechanical filter, reducing both the transmission of vibrations from the environment and their feedback into the audio component.

The result is a more stable operating environment and a noticeable improvement in clarity, precision, and coherence of the reproduced sound.

The BBS system is patent protected.

The Balancing Board System

The reference kinematic anti-vibration Balancing Board System BBS (Patent P.404137) is used in the construction of models marked with the abbreviation BBS. The system consists of a threaded, height-adjustable spike made of high-fiber-content steel alloy, on top of which two elements are placed, each with an inner bearing. An intermediary (middle) element is made of carbon fiber and supports another element, a steel bearing inserted into the shelf. Point contact between the steel spike and the carbon intermediary element prevents movement of either element relative to its axis, but it allows pendular motion. Meanwhile, the contact between the intermediary element and the bearing inserted into the shelf allows restricted rolling motion and sliding motion. Consequently, the advantages of spike point support (contact area has been minimized and kinetic energy turns into heat) have been combined with the effects of deadening vibrations owing to to sliding friction and rolling resistance.

Adaptation to System and Space

Rogoz Audio products are available in standard configurations, developed with a wide range of audio systems and usage conditions in mind.

When required, they can be adapted to a specific equipment setup, loudspeakers, or listening environment.

The scope of possible modifications includes:

  • dimensions (height, width, depth)
  • layout and configuration of shelves or platforms
  • construction and materials used
  • isolation and decoupling solutions
  • ballast options (in selected models)
  • finish and color options

Modifications to standard designs are priced individually.

Color samples presented in digital form are for reference only — final selection should be based on physical sample sets.
