Sandwich-type construction. Piano gloss finish.

Dual shelves (2 × 30 mm) are separated by the proprietary BBS (Balancing Board System). The irregular shape of the top shelf reduces the formation of symmetrical resonance modes and minimizes the risk of standing waves within the structure. Variations in geometry and the absence of parallel edges promote even distribution of vibrational energy.

The structure of both shelves is based on a multi-layer configuration with varying density and mechanical properties, formed under high pressure. This non-uniform material behavior prevents energy accumulation and promotes its gradual dissipation throughout the structure.

In practice, this reduces resonance-related coloration and limits the influence of environmental vibrations — including those generated by loudspeakers and transmitted through floors and furniture — on audio components.

Images may also present alternative finish options, illustrating available color and material variations.

The platform is designed for high-end audio components, offering multi-stage vibration control while maintaining stable point support.

BBS System (Balancing Board System)

The BBS system consists of precisely matched elements: a height-adjustable steel cone, an intermediate carbon-polymer element, and steel sockets embedded in the shelves.

Point contact between the cone and the intermediate element stabilizes the system while allowing controlled pendulum motion. At the next stage, vibration energy enters a contact zone where limited rolling and sliding motion can occur.

This sequence ensures that vibrations are not transmitted linearly but gradually dissipated and attenuated.

In practice, this results in multi-stage energy reduction through friction, rolling resistance, internal damping, and inertia — while maintaining stable point support.

The system acts as a mechanical filter, limiting both incoming vibrations and their return to the audio component.

The result is a more stable operating environment and improved clarity, precision, and coherence of sound reproduction.

The BBS system is patented.

Reviews & Awards

The CADENZA/BBS platform was reviewed by Wojciech Pacuła in High Fidelity and awarded the RED Fingerprint distinction.
The review emphasized that CADENZA/BBS does not act as an element that changes the tonal character of the sound, but as one that organizes the system’s performance. It leads the presentation in a direction the reviewer described as “the right and most important one” — adding body and density while calming the background of the recording.
The review also pointed to more clearly defined reverberation and a more tangible sense of space around its decay.
One of the platform’s characteristic qualities was described by Wojciech Pacuła as “adding saturation to the sound while at the same time improving selectivity,” while he also noted that, in good recordings, the platform “brought out the inner energy — volume and ‘presence’.”
The reviewer summarized returning to listening with the platform as “a return home.”

ROGOZ AUDIO CADENZA/BBS – anti-vibration platform with BBS system

In good recordings, it brought out the inner energy — the body and ‘presence’ of the sound. […] Already the first notes of the classical guitar emerging from silence and opening track ˻ 2 ˺, Billie Jean — a surprising, ballad-like interpretation of Michael Jackson’s hit — were, with the platform in place, closer to me, larger, yet also clearer. This is a characteristic feature of the Cadenza: adding saturation to the sound while at the same time improving selectivity.

The Balancing Board System

The reference kinematic anti-vibration Balancing Board System BBS (Patent P.404137) is used in the construction of models marked with the abbreviation BBS. The system consists of a threaded, height-adjustable spike made of high-fiber-content steel alloy, on top of which two elements are placed, each with an inner bearing. An intermediary (middle) element is made of carbon fiber and supports another element, a steel bearing inserted into the shelf. Point contact between the steel spike and the carbon intermediary element prevents movement of either element relative to its axis, but it allows pendular motion. Meanwhile, the contact between the intermediary element and the bearing inserted into the shelf allows restricted rolling motion and sliding motion. Consequently, the advantages of spike point support (contact area has been minimized and kinetic energy turns into heat) have been combined with the effects of deadening vibrations owing to to sliding friction and rolling resistance.
