The 3QB6 is designed as a slim, multi-level structure with high rigidity, enabling stable and organized placement of multiple audio components within a vertical layout.
Structure and vibration control
Rogoz Audio racks are designed as systems controlling the flow of mechanical energy. The 3QB6 model uses a rigid steel frame tuned through a combination of carbon and alloy steels.
Thick-walled legs made of S235JR steel and crossbars made of S355 steel form a stable load-bearing structure resistant to dynamic loads.
The shelves are decoupled from the frame using dedicated polymer pads with very low mass and density. This material does not promote energy storage, thereby reducing delayed energy release back into the structure.
In practice, this minimizes effects such as ringing and phase-shifted resonances, helping to maintain a more neutral and uncolored mechanical behavior.
Quartz sand ballast further stabilizes the structure and supports the damping of higher frequencies.
