Four-leg, three-level design. Sandwich-structured shelves finished in Concert Burgundy (high-gloss). Legs finished in black gloss.

The structure allows control of mechanical parameters through precise tuning of load-bearing elements and their internal tension.

Images may also present alternative finish options, illustrating available color and material variations.

The 4RP3/BBS is designed as a mechanically tunable structure, offering three levels and high stability while allowing precise control over the behavior of the entire system.

Vibration control and BBS system

Rogoz Audio racks are designed as systems that control the flow of mechanical energy. In the 4RP3/BBS model, the key factor is not only mass and isolation, but also the internal structure of the load-bearing elements.

The solid legs feature a layered structure with varying density, promoting dissipation of vibrational energy and preventing its accumulation within specific frequency ranges.

Steel threaded rods run through the entire height of the structure — including the shelves — binding the system together and enabling precise control of internal tension.

Adjustment of this tension directly affects the mechanical behavior of the structure, allowing it to be tuned according to the rack dimensions and the mass of supported components.

The double shelves (2 × 30 mm) are separated using the proprietary BBS (Balancing Board System), allowing controlled lateral movement of isolated masses while maintaining point support.

As a result, vibration energy is not transferred linearly but dissipated progressively through motion, friction, and internal damping.

Sound performance

In practice, this results in a stable and well-organized sound presentation, improved low-frequency control, and high clarity and separation — particularly in mid to high-complexity audio systems.

The Balancing Board System

The reference kinematic anti-vibration Balancing Board System BBS (Patent P.404137) is used in the construction of models marked with the abbreviation BBS. The system consists of a threaded, height-adjustable spike made of high-fiber-content steel alloy, on top of which two elements are placed, each with an inner bearing. An intermediary (middle) element is made of carbon fiber and supports another element, a steel bearing inserted into the shelf. Point contact between the steel spike and the carbon intermediary element prevents movement of either element relative to its axis, but it allows pendular motion. Meanwhile, the contact between the intermediary element and the bearing inserted into the shelf allows restricted rolling motion and sliding motion. Consequently, the advantages of spike point support (contact area has been minimized and kinetic energy turns into heat) have been combined with the effects of deadening vibrations owing to to sliding friction and rolling resistance.
